Russian feminist punk group Pussy Riot sang a 41-second protest song at Christ the Saviour Cathedral in February 2012 that accused the Russian Orthodox Patriarch of being too closely involved in Putin's return to power. Two of these women -- Nadezhda (Nadya) Tolokonnikova and Maria (Masha) Alekhina - were tried, found guilty of "hooliganism," and are serving their sentences in notoriously brutal penal colonies thousands of miles from Moscow and their young children. This is a great t-shirt! I'm not sure what other people were looking for in a t-shirt to give it a low rating, but this one is made well and has a great design. After I got one for myself, my husband had to have one, too!

Ridiculously large but still a cool design

Great design and remember the "price" is a donation. Better than "flea-market" quality. Decent but not the best American Apparel has to offer. The sizing is what really disappoints me and merits low rating. When pre-orders were going on, there wasn't a photo of the shirt on a model. That would have helped me not be so shocked about the oversizing of this shirt. So, beware and order a size or two down unless you're looking for a sleep shirt!

The quality of the T-shirt is something I'd expect to find at a flea market. Very disappointed, considering the cost and Amnesty International and CBGB's affiliation. Oh well.........
